The complexity of projects that combine common and individual premises is always a challenge where privacy must go hand in hand with an overall calm, warm and noble spirit. At this time the main stake was to convey the authenticity of the country through a modern design. To achieve this goal we were inspired by Brancus work of art and subtly integrated a multitude of symbols and motifs into the premises.
The tone of the entire space is set right in the reception area, where we have designed a stylized sculpture based on the famous work of art “Column of Infinity”. A massive chandelier is placed in the same zone in tandem with it. The wine shop in the lobby meant to emphasize the wine-making profile of the country has become another element of authenticity.
At the same time we wanted to give naturalness to the space, so we opted for Walnut Lincoln plywood. We put travertine in the area of the arches to give the feeling of brightness and airiness. The artistic motifs, as well as natural ones, are also found in the hotel rooms – an imperative component necessary to unite all the premises in the same stylistic concept.
The theme of Brancus work of art continues in the restaurant, where the smooth lines of the legs of the tables allude to the famous sculpture “Table of Silence”. The stone countertop offers the atmosphere of durability to the premise, and the circular shapes and upholstered chairs contrast with it and add comfort to the premise. The atmosphere becomes even more relaxed when the windows are completely open and the restaurant merges with the terrace.
