We choose lines carefully and design our concepts meticulously. Each project is a combination of the client’s requests and the solutions we can identify to meet their requirements.

Aesthetically, the main condition of the Contemporary B House project was originality. On the other hand, in terms of convenience, the beneficiary wanted privacy. If the first condition is for us a daily exercise, which we perform with pleasure, the second condition was the mandatory challenge of the project.

Taking into account the surrounding neighbourhood, we had the task of creating the opening to the side which is opposite to the sunny one. We designed a panoramic window to ensure the flow of light and openness to the nearby view. However, we wanted to ensure the penetration of sunlight, so we used windows in the opposite area that favour this at least in part. We designed the house in 3 levels for to ensure the functionality of the premises. We reserved the basement for recreation premises, the ground floor for the living area, and we placed bedrooms on the first floor.

Characterized by succinct lines, Contemporary B House is a combination of minimalism with modernist influences and hi-tech elements. We created a volumetric game, focusing the construction on two main volumes joined by a third element. As an accent, we integrated in the concept a console – a massive detail that stands out, being visible even from outside the yard. Around the perimeter it was completed by subtle LEDs, which come to support the general style, but also the strictness of the building.

The finishing materials were another reason to demonstrate stylistic congruence. In addition to glass, which ensures ephemerality and transparency of the house, the façade represents a play of textures from three different materials: anthracite plaster, ceramic tiles that imitate stone and tiles that give the feeling of wooden slats. The latter are intended to provide verticality to the building. The whole concept is based on continuity, so the finishing materials are intertwined with small elements that create the feeling of unity.
