Making simplicity attractive is an objective that seems easy to achieve. The situation changes when originality appears in the equation, and the initial goal takes on the appearance of a challenge. This was also the case with the project below, in which the succinct lines are intertwined in a small story of contemporary architecture.

From an aesthetic point of view we relied on conciseness. The colour range of the project is limited to 3 hues: white, anthracite and brown. White dominates the façade, offering to it the feeling of ephemerality; anthracite becomes an accent, both through the areas where it comes to emphasize certain elements, and due to the frames of windows and doors of the same colour. The brown colour of the wood gives warmth to the structure; the elements made of this material also offer the feeling of privacy.

Wooden slats, which create continuity between the ground floor and the first floor, become one of the accent architectural elements bringing the aesthetic warmth of the wood used on the terrace of the first floor to the balcony.

From the practical point of view, the house becomes the centre of the courtyard, dividing the entrance area and the relaxation area. In front of the house we designed the entrance area and the garage. Here, the strictness of the shapes creates a geometric play, the hardness of which is warmed by the structure of wood on the garage façade, gaining liveliness due to the green area. At the back of the house we arranged a space for relaxation. We designed a spacious terrace and a barbecue area practically integrated into the structure of the building.
