The Midtown Residence project was an exercise in aesthetics for us, where we rethought the look of the already existing buildings. Without any radical interventions in the structure, we designed an exterior aspect that emanates contemporary breath. We built up the whole concept around harmonious geometry.
The project of townhouses in Chisinau is meant to offer its dwellers privacy and comfort. To ensure it, we have carefully chosen the finishing materials, as well as the colour range of this architectural project. We relied on a combination of white and anthracite colours, which we warmed with the fine texture of the wood. If the horizontal division is obvious and takes place due to the division of the levels, in order to provide verticality to the house, we extended the wooden finish on two of the floors, dividing the house in two parts. We also opted for subtle wooden slats and railing with vertical slats. The wide windows, but also the glass doors offer transparency to the structure. The same trick with transparency was used in the attic, where the terrace was covered with glass.
