MINIMALIST ROW HOUSES

Year: 2022

Area: 890 sqm

Location: Bucharest, Romania

Architectural Concept: AB + Partners

Due to simple lines and complex volumetry, this row house project is a deviation from the classic canons of similarity. For these few houses we used laconic forms with elements of symmetry. We gave them a minimalistic modern look by the play of colours and materials.

The façade is a combination of textures. For the elements on the upper floors that come out of the console we used white plaster, the rest of the surface was covered with a ventilated façade that combines the appearance of wood with that of ceramic tiles. We used neutral hues that we combined with the anthracite of the windows and doors to add harmony to the picture.

Volumetry allowed us to customize the project through a set of withdrawals. Moreover, in order to highlight the geometry, we used various materials for different segments. Thus, we obtained a mixed look that gives complexity to the façade and fits it with dignity into the modern canons of minimalism.
