The Urban Villa project is like a breath of fresh air. Designed to be spacious and airy, the house is an eloquent example of modern architecture. We dared to detach ourselves from the usual rectangular shapes and gave it the dreamy shape of two wings open to a flight. The light colours, the fore-roof opening up and the generous space contribute to the feeling of fresh breath.

To create a functional planning, we strategically divided the house into three areas:

  • Basement – reserved for technical and utility facilities.
  • Ground floor – designed for the active area
  • The first floor – dedicated to the recreation area

The main stake in this house is transparency that creates maximum connection between the interior and outdoor space. The day area – the kitchen, the dining room, the living room and the playground, located on the ground floor, is permanently opened into the garden due to the stained glass windows. Also due to them, the connection between the interior premises is preserved. The effect of merging becomes even more pronounced in warm weather. When the sliding windows are opened, the garden and the living area are practically merged into one space: natural, simple and comfortable. Designed to provide the day area with a stylistic shadow of the interior architecture, the stained glass windows become a detail that unites the concept.

Even having an outdoor patio, which comes as a continuation of the day area, a carport for parking spaces and a terrace for the guest place with separate access, the courtyard preserves its simplicity. The simple architectural lines were faithfully preserved in each of the elements, which allowed us their harmonious integration into the concept.

The first floor of the house was reserved for bedrooms, each of them having its own terrace, which guarantees privacy and personal space. Having a smaller area than the ground floor, the first floor allowed the arrangement of a green area on the terrace, so that the blending with nature, which has been emphasized in the active area, also continues here.
